24 Hour OSHA Hazwoper Worker – Limited Task/Exposure & Fully Characterized Course Description:
This online course provides the Hazwoper Worker who performs limited tasks, is non likely to exceed any exposure limits, or is working in fully characterized areas, a thorough, in-depth education in OSHA’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Standards, which require employees to complete appropriate HAZWOPER training prior to entering or beginning work on an emergency response or at an uncontrolled hazardous waste site operation. OSHA recommends workplace safety training for a safe and healthful work environment. This is why those workers who work on a job site where hazardous materials are present need this course. Both general industry and construction workers benefit from this training. OSHA also requires 1 day of actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor.
