OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Course Description
This OSHA course is a logical addition to a First Aid/CPR course, and covers the various bacterial, viral, and even fungal agents which can cause human disease, and how to protect oneself from them. HIV and hepatitis are only the more well-known pathogens which can be spread by bodily fluids. Protective equipment, such as gloves and masks, is discussed, and the elements of a written program and employee training are covered.
