Hazardous Materials Course Description
The primary basis of this standard is the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 30, Flammable and combustible Liquids Code. The standard applies to the handling, use, and storage of flammable and combustible liquids with a flash point below 200 degrees F. In order to prevent fire and explosions the standard addresses design and construction, ventilation, ignition sources, and storage.
