Introduction to Hazwoper Course Description

Anyone who enters a hazardous waste site must recognize and understand the potential hazards to health and safety associated with the investigation and clean-up of that site. Personnel actively involved in investigations and clean-up must be thoroughly familiar with health and safety programs and procedures, and must be specially trained to work safely in contaminated areas. This course also covers the requirements for emergency response to the release or potential release of hazardous materials and the RCRA regulations.
