Heat and Cold Stress Course Description
Personnel may work under conditions of hot or cold temperature extremes. Regulation of body temperature, which is an important physiological function, can be impaired under temperature extremes and result in heat- or cold-related illness. This course helps students identify signs and symptoms of heat/cold related illness or injuries and provides them with preventative tools to minimize their risk to heat/cold related illnesses or injuries.
