Scaffold Safety Course Description
There are many types of scaffolds used in industry, constructed of several materials and with many specialized features. Some are stationary, some are mobile. They must be constructed according to industry standards and erected under the supervision of a “competent person.” In addition, there are specific OSHA recommendations for fall protection while erecting and dismantling scaffolding. This course covers at least 26 types of scaffolds regulated by OSHA, and discusses commonly used inadequate substitutes for proper scaffolding, as well as accidents that still occur due to improperly anchored scaffolds.
